DSV-1 Alt-Azimuth Mount
Designed for uncomplicated enjoyment of the
night sky, the DSV-1 Altitude-Azimuth mount
provides grab and go, point and look operation
The DSV-1 is finely machined from 6061
Aluminum alloy and assembled using stainless
steel hardware. The shafts ride on ball and
needle bearings to ensure smooth motions.
Adjustable brakes on each axis allows adjusting
the mount motions to the desired firmness level.
The mount is rated for instruments up to 15
pounds per dovetail clamp. Choose between a
single clamp model or a double clamp model that
allows mounting two telescopes side by side.
The dovetail clamps accept standard Vixen-style
dovetail bars. The double clamp model can be
adjusted so both telescopes point the same
object.

portable solution for your 60-80mm refractor or
90mm - 127mm SCT or Mak. It is designed for use
with our LWT-1 Astro Tripod or with most heavy-
duty photo tripods equipped with a center
column and a 3/8-16 mounting post. Like the DSV-
1, the DSV-M is handcrafted from Aluminum and
Stainless Steel. Spring-loaded slip clutches on
both axes provide super-smooth motion control.

The counterweight system shaft threads onto

balance by screwing the weight in or out.
Knurled knob on shaft allows to easily install
and remove counterweight system without tools.
